Born 1971 on the lower Rhine, 1990 Abitur, 1991 piano
accompanist for the music corps of the Bundeswehr in Hilden,
afterwards study of musical theory, German literature and
philosophy in Cologne.
Study of composition with Prof. Manfred Trojahn at the Robert
Schumann Academy of Music in Duesseldorf, diploma awarded
in 1998, 1999-2000 master class with Prof. Hans-Juergen von
Bose at the Academy for Music and Theatre in Munich.
Award-winner of several composition and literary awards,
"Ensemblia 95" and the "Moerses Literaturpreis 1999" among
others award-winner of the "Kulturpreis" of the city of Kevelaer.
Since 1998: musical director of the Cologne Music Theatre.
2000 prize winner at "Music in European Gardens" with his
sorry effort "Trommelfeuer" (Drumfire).
